Resources

ResourcesThis section provides access to all of our resources and publications that can be found in other parts of the website.

The Blue Skies group invites input and refinement to its resources from a broad range of stakeholders, including:

  • people with disability;
  • family and carers;
  • service providers;
  • advocates;
  • government;
  • educationalists;
  • business people; and
  • other interested Queenslanders.

Where possible, we provide access to resources and publications in a range of formats from PDF documents, to accessible word files, video footage and audio files. If you, or someone you know, requires additional support to access the Blue Skies – either online or at an event – please contact us.

Resources for service providers

Disabiliity service providers are encouraged to explore the Support with Interpreting, Translating and Communication (SWITC) service.

SWITC has been designed to enable mainstream services to become accessible through the use of translators and interpreters. Non-Government Organisations (NGO’s) who have programs funded by Queensland Government’s Department of Communities (Disability Services) are invited to use SWITC.

Please visit the SWITC website for more information.
